Responsibilities: · BA/BS in Computer Science or a related technical degree program and 5+ years experience required · Extensive knowledge and experience with networked, enterprise distributed application environments · Extensive experience with technical documentation (technical requirements, design, UML) · Expert level skills (3+ years industry experience) in .NET Framework (C#/VB.NET), ASP.NET, ASP.NET XML Web Services (ASMX) · Strong skills in Microsoft SQL Server 2005 -- Database design and optimization, Enterprise Manager, Query Analyzer, Stored Procedures, Indexing and relationships · Strong understanding of ASP.NET User and Server Controls (know the difference), ASP.NET HTTP pipeline and the life cycle of ASP.NET controls, XML, Serialization, .NET Remoting, ADO.NET · Strong understanding of Object Oriented design (classes, constructors, interfaces, properties, methods, and events) · Hands on experience using both Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 and Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 · Experience developing, following and enforcing, development standards · Experience with source code version control (Team Foundation Server, and/or multiple branches, and coordination of multiple branches preferred) · Experience incorporating 3rd party libraries and frameworks · Working knowledge of the following XML technologies -- XML Information Set, XSLT, XPath, XML DOM, XML Schema, Namespaces · Working knowledge of the following web services technologies -- Simple Object Access protocol (SOAP), Web Service Description Language (WSDL) · Knowledge in .NET Framework 3.5 (WCF, Linq, XAML, ASP.NET MVC) · Familiarity and experience executing several software development methodologies and life cycles · Familiarity with Microsoft Windows 2003 Server - IIS 6.0, IIS Infrastructure, NLB, HTTP infrastructure, Security, Configuration · Industry exposure with Classic ASP, COM, VB6, VB.NET, and BizTalk.
